Born in El Salvador, she immigrated to San Francisco at three years old—a transition filled with challenges that would shape her future. As a child, she became an English translator for her mother and her community, acting as a bridge between immigrant and American cultures. This early responsibility honed her ability to navigate complex systems and foster understanding—skills that would later define her career.

With over 20 years of experience spanning corporate, public, and nonprofit sectors, Jenny has distinguished herself as an innovator and forward-thinking leader. During her tenure at Wells Fargo, she directed the bank’s strategy aimed at supporting vulnerable small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. She co-designed the groundbreaking $420MM Open for Business Fund, which supported over 336,000 small businesses (51% of whom were women-owned) and preserved 461,000 jobs. She also spearheaded multi-million dollar industry leading investments into Hello Alice’s $70MM Equitable Access Fund as well as the Opportunity Finance Network’s Finance Justice Fund, both of which target growth-oriented entrepreneurs across the US.

In 2024, Jenny expanded her mission to reimagine venture capital—a legacy framework that has historically miscalculated risk and overlooked high-potential founders that exist outside of traditional networks. She co-founded the AMH Catalyst Center, leveraging cutting-edge AI and blockchain technologies to create investment systems that open access and opportunity for women. Inspired by her daughter Angie’s entrepreneurial spirit and named in honor of the daughters of both co-founders, AMH Catalyst Center is a powerful step toward building a future where women entrepreneurs thrive without limits.

When Grace’s father decided to start his own contracting business, it became a family affair. The papercuts from stuffing hundreds of flyers into envelopes; typing contracts on a manual typewriter in the fourth grade as neatly as possible; and translating questions and requests from current and potential customers. As the daughter of immigrants who pursued the American Dream, Grace doesn't just understand the entrepreneurial journey—she's lived it, fueled by the same resilience and determination that now drives her mission to champion the next generation of innovators.

Grace co-founded the AMH Catalyst Center with the belief that entrepreneurship is a vehicle for innovation and prosperity that benefits everyone. AMH works to reframe how women entrepreneurs access capital, networks, and expertise to unleash the power of their untapped talent. She combines strategic insights with operational expertise, drawing from her track record of turning audacious ideas into transformative realities.

Before co-founding the AHM Catalyst Center, Grace co-designed and executed the $420 million Open for Business Fund at Wells Fargo during the COVID-19 pandemic—a lifeline for entrepreneurs of color when they needed it most. Her past experiences include roles at Arabella Advisors, the United Nations Foundation, and the Pew Charitable Trusts. She holds two bachelor's degrees from UC Berkeley and a masters from Columbia University.

A Bay Area native who recharges by running along the shoreline near her East Bay home, Grace brings the same steady determination to AMH that she brings to everything—a personal mission to ensure that the promise of entrepreneurship remains possible for all people and generations to come.

Kimberli Cavazos Haywood is a Chicana activist, investor and seasoned community development practitioner with over two decades of experience driving deep community impact. She has led transformative community reinvestment programs for major financial institutions, helping deploy billions of dollars into some of America’s most underinvested communities.  

A passionate advocate for equity and justice, Kim has served on numerous nonprofit boards and dedicated her career to addressing systemic inequities. Her contributions have been recognized with multiple awards for outstanding achievements.

In her current role as Director of Investments at Candide Group, Kimberli continues to champion initiatives that address critical social and economic issues, working towards a more inclusive and resilient future.  Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Utah.

Lorena Hernandez is an innovative leader at the nexus of technology, government and social impact. She most recently served as Head of Community Impact for Comcast in California, one of the nation's largest media and technology companies with two primary businesses, Comcast and NBCUniversal.  Ms. Hernandez spearheaded the Foundation, Comcast community signature programs, volunteerism for 5000+ employees and the creation of award-winning strategic partnerships and programs throughout California and beyond.

Throughout her extensive career as a public affairs and philanthropic strategist, Lorena successfully advocates, assists, and advances policies and programs that create upward mobility for all, especially youth and their families.  From the start, as Policy Manager then Vice President Media & Communications at Children Now to Director of Communications at California Healthcare Foundation and then Vice President of the Walter Kaitz Foundation, Lorena has focused on equity and equality for all.

Ms. Hernandez was appointed and served as Vice Chair of the California Student Aid Commission; the principal state agency responsible for administering $9 billion dollars in financial aid programs for California students.

Ms. Hernandez has been recognized numerous times including being named as one of the Bay Area’s Most Influential Latinos by the San Francisco Business Times and the national publication Latino Leaders Magazine named her one of the country’s leading Latinos.  The San Francisco Business Times recognized Ms. Hernandez as one of the Most Influential Women in Business.  

She is committed to enriching the lives of others through mentoring and serves as board member and advisor to: California Volunteers Fund, Girls in Tech, Latinas in Tech, Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project, and SupplyBank.org to name a few.

Rebeca Rangel serves as the Bay Area Program Officer for Asset Funders Network (AFN). In this role, Rebeca leads efforts bringing together grantmakers, policymakers, and leading stakeholders to connect and discover best practices, invest in promising interventions, advocate for needed policy changes, support narrative change, and identify actionable roles for philanthropy to advance equitable wealth building and economic mobility nationwide and specifically in the Bay Area Region.

Prior to joining AFN, Rebeca served as a Senior Program Officer at the Y&H Soda Foundation where she initiated the economic justice strategic priority and served as a Bay Area AFN steering committee member. Previously, Rebeca was a Senior Vice President at Bank of the West where she directed the Bank’s philanthropic investments and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Rebeca also served as a Bank of the West Charitable Foundation Trustee, Secretary for the Bank’s Executive Management Committee, and Special Assistant to the Chairman. Additionally, Rebeca has experience as an intermediary grantmaker with the New Americans Campaign at the Immigrant Legal Resource Center.

Rebeca holds a BA in Urban Studies from Stanford University, a MPP from Harvard Kennedy School, and a JD from Northwestern School of Law. Her immigrant parents have been her greatest teachers.
